We Are on Our Way
This wartime cartoon, published in the Netherlands News (a New York–based publication of the Netherlands Information Bureau), shows General Douglas MacArthur advancing toward New Guinea and the Dutch East Indies. It symbolized the Allied push to reclaim territories occupied by Japan and offered hope to Dutch and Indonesian audiences during World War II.
