Pemoeda Dasar Tiang Negara

A poster titled "Pemoeda: Dasar Tiang Negara" which means “Youth: the Foundation of the Nation”, originating from a collection of propaganda posters crafted by a collective of Indonesian artists in the 1940s, was presented to Frank Porter Graham during his tenure in Indonesia. This poster is included in a scrapbook titled "We Struggle with Posters (P.T.P.I.)", spanning from 1945 to 1947. It contains reduced reproductions of P.T.P.I. distributed posters, covering topics related to Indonesia and abroad. The vividly colored watercolors appear to be original works.
