Pahlawan Tank Nishizoemi

After Japan's occupation of Indonesia, enemy films were banned, replaced by Japanese propaganda films. Known as "kokusaku eiga" (national policy films), they received special recommendations from the Japanese government. One such film was "Tank Hero Nishizoemi," portraying Japanese and Chinese soldiers bravely fighting together during the Sino-Japanese War. Based on real events, it urged viewers to accept loss without despair. Yoshimura, the film director, toured actual battlefields in China to create it.
