Ola Bapa Dja

Ola Bapa Dja is an Ambonese marching song and Indonesian greeting featured in the post-war repertoire of the Kilima Hawaiians. Reflecting the complex cultural intersections of the Indonesian-Dutch colonial period, the piece combines military undertones with traditional melodies. Lyrics by Wim van Herpen and Peter Piekos accompany music and arrangement by Wim van Herpen.
