Memories of Our Friendship

This souvenir commemorates friendship and service during the Dutch military presence in Indonesia. Bearing the inscription “Memories of our friendship during your stay in the Indies,” it likely served as a parting gift within the Catholic Home Front network, which supported soldiers through spiritual and social outreach. The imagery, featuring military and religious symbols such as a cathedral, reflects the intersection of faith, colonial duty, and camaraderie during the turbulent years of the Indonesian–Dutch conflict.
