Betina dan Djantan Sama

During the independence revolution, it wasn't just male fighters, but women also joined the battlefield to defend freedom. Women not only managed public kitchens but also joined the "Indonesian Women's Army" or became members of the Indonesian Red Cross. In light of this, Sudjojono conceived the idea of creating a poster specifically inviting female fighters to join male fighters against the Dutch. The poster slogan "Female and Male are Equal", executed by Surono. This poster doesn't claim that women and men are the same, but with a more revolutionary tone, it asserts that females and males are equal.
