Ajakan berbahasa Jepang

One impact of the Dutch defeat by the Japanese Military was the disappearance of the Dutch language in education and daily communication in the Dutch East Indies, replaced by Japanese. The strict ban on Dutch demanded all establishments switch to Indonesian or Japanese. Schools, initially closed, reopened with Japanese language requirements. Japan aimed to teach Japanese widely, akin to its approach in Taiwan and Korea. In Java, Japanese was integral to understanding Japanese life and culture.
